Kim Knight Perez, Esq.
Ms. Perez has been practicing law in Georgia since 2001. In her legal career,
Ms. Perez has represented plaintiffs, defendants and transactional clients in a
variety of forums. Before forming her own firm, Ms. Perez worked as a law
clerk with the Georgia Secretary of State's office, as an associate at the law
firm of Weizenecker, Mottern & Fisher, P.C. in Atlanta, and as a founding
partner of Shaw & Perez, LLC.
In 2005 Ms. Perez was consulted as an expert in construction law for Fox 5
Atlanta Television's investigative news series entitled "Bad Builders" and is an
instructor on home inspector liability at the Tim Birch Technical Academy in
Atlanta. When not working, Ms. Perez enjoys time with her family, husband
Michael and children Isabella and Jack. Ms. Perez is also active in her church,
Morningside Presbyterian in Atlanta, and its preschool program.
